Aside being part of the UNESCO world cultural heritage\, the city is not only looking back on an impressive European history but also on an ongoing intensive contribution to international cooperation and exchange. In addition\, the worldwide renown RWTH Aachen University\, one of the German “Universities of Excellence”\, expands the academic horizon and is a trendsetter for innovative technologies and medical developments. \nOne of the greatest strengths of ESTES is its diversity\, gathering the expertise of surgeons\, nurses and researchers from the field of trauma and emergency surgery in one society.
