The ESTES Interdisciplinary Pelvic Trauma Course underscores the criticality of collaboration in managing high-energy pelvic trauma cases. These patients frequently present with severe injuries, necessitating intricate decision-making pathways. The primary objective of this course is to highlight the pivotal role of interdisciplinary approaches in treating pelvic trauma patients.

Central to the course curriculum are key focal points including Resuscitation Strategies, Surgical Bleeding Control, Management of Concomitant Injuries, Endovascular Techniques, Soft Tissue Management, Complex Reconstructions, and Strategies of Surgical Reconstruction. By emphasizing these areas, the course aims to equip healthcare professionals with the comprehensive skills and knowledge essential for effective patient care and optimal outcomes in pelvic trauma scenarios.

The course is approved and certified by the Swiss Surgical Society with 12 Education Credits.
